Compiling with Qt

If your operating system is not listed, Searchmonkey 2 is simple to compile from the supply source code.

Before compiling, download the full version of Qt Creator for your chosen platform, get the latest source code, and open up the "searchmonkey.pro" file. Select "release build" and then "build project".

Looking for older versions?

Version 0.8 and earlier used the Gtk+ library and this version can still be downloaded here.

Many Linux ports exist, for example "aptitude install searchmonkey" will download the latest earlier version directly into Ubuntu

Other ports exist within the AltRPM repositories
